Volarium - the flying Cinema

A unique cinematic adventure

Opened in 2019, Volarium is Italy's first Flying Cinema. This extraordinary attraction is one of Cinecittà World's most popular attractions. It is not just a simple indoor movie theater in Rome, but a flying theater, a large dynamic simulator full of special effects that takes guests flying suspended over 10 meters high, offering a realistic flight experience. Volarium was awarded as the best Italian attraction in 2019 at the Parksmania Awards, the Oscars of amusement parks. It is also suitable for children with a minimum height of 120 cm.

The journey begins on the ground, inside a super-computer, where guests are faced with the most advanced artificial intelligence that guides them to discover the secrets of movie special effects: D.I.O., the Digital Intelligence Officer. Next, a futuristic elevator will take them to the cinema level, which can accommodate up to 50 people, with an immense 25-meter-wide concave screen offering 4K projections.
